About Us
Mrs. Irene Lisec founded the Arlington Heights Garden Club in 1955. It has grown rapidly in recent years and now has more than 120 members from Arlington Heights and surrounding communities.
At monthly meetings, knowledgeable speakers offer information and practical advice to both beginning and experienced gardeners. The Arlington Heights Garden Club has received numerous awards for its contributions to civic beautification. To encourage the study of horticulturally oriented careers, the Garden Club provides one or more academic and personal development scholarships per year. An annual Garden Walk funds these Scholarships. For details on general meetings and other events, please see the Events page.
Guests are always welcome to attend our general meetings. If you would like to attend a meeting or have any questions, please contact us at ahgcmembers@gmail.com.
